The Best Bread Maker with Fruit and Nut Dispenser
Breville BBM800XL
The Breville BBM800XL is my personal favorite bread machine, it’s perfect for every aspiring bread maker. It has an impressive 13 different settings and 3 crust colors so you can create any type of loaf you like. This machine can make anything, from a basic white loaf, to even cake and jam.
Like every machine on my shortlist, the Breville has an automatic fruit and nut dispenser, so you can add just the right amount of your favorite ingredients. Plus, it comes with an impressive 12-month warranty, so you know you’re getting a quality product.
One of the things I love most about the Breville is the unique collapsible paddle design ensures that your loaf has a smooth finish with no large holes at the bottom. No more big holes in the bottom of those beautiful loves! The only downside to this machine is that it’s a little bit bulky and takes up a fair bit of counter space.
Nevertheless, I really like this bread maker, it’s packed with so many great features. If you want to learn more, I have written a more in-depth Breville BBM800XL review if you want to take a look!
KBS Bread Maker
The KBS bread maker is a great choice for anyone looking for a quality bread machine on a budget. It has 17 different settings, so you can make any type of bread you can imagine. If you are feeling adventurous, there are also settings that allow you to make cake, jam, and even yogurt!
This bread maker also has a detachable fruit and nut dispenser, which is also automatic, so you can add your favorite ingredients without having to stop the machine mid-knead. Making the dispenser detachable is great as you can remove it from the machine, add your ingredients and clip it back in. It is also much easier to clean!
When it comes to specs, the KBS has the capacity to make up to a 2-pound loaf with 3 crust colors and also has a 15 hour delayed timer, 1-hour keep-warm function, and a 10-minute power off failure.
Another great feature of this machine is the bread pan. It has a ceramic pan, instead of the usual Teflon-coated alternatives, so you know your bread will come out chemical-free!

This bread maker also has a 13-hour delayed timer, so you can wake up to the smell of fresh bread in the morning, and a 60-minute keep-warm function in case you forget your loaf inside.
The Hamilton Beach bread maker is also one of the more affordable machines on the market. It doesn’t have as many bells and whistles as some of the other machines, but it gets the job done well.
Zojirushi BB-SSC10WZ
The Zojirushi BB-SSC is a great machine for anyone looking for a high-quality, durable bread maker. It has a fruit and nut dispenser that is located under the lid of the machine and it can be removed and cleaned very easily, like the KBS bread machine.
The machine comes with 15 different settings, so you can make any type of bread you like, including cake, jam. The Zojirushi BB-SSC also has a 13-hour delayed timer and conveniently bakes bread in just under 1 hour and 20 minutes, which is considerably less time than most machines out there. This is also a surprisingly small and compact bread maker so it is pretty easy to store!
The only downside to the Zojirushi is the price tag. For a small machine, it comes with a hefty price, so if you are looking for a more budget-friendly machine then this is probably not the one for you.
Panasonic SD-YR2500 Bread Maker
The Panasonic SD-YR2500 is a great machine for anyone looking for an affordable bread maker. Like the other machines I have mentioned, the Panasonic comes with a bucket-load of bread settings, 13 to be exact, so you can make a huge variety of loaves with ease.
What makes this machine stand is the fact it doesn’t just have one automatic dispenser but two! One is for fruits and nuts and the other is for dispensing yeast. Both dispensers are located under the first hood of the machine.
With the Panasonic, you don’t need to add the yeast along with the rest of the ingredients in the pan. Add it to the yeast dispenser and the machine will automatically drop it in with the rest of the ingredients. Pretty cool, right?
The fruit and nut dispenser works like any other dispenser and it will dispense during the kneading process.
Yedi Total Package 19-in-1 Bread Maker
The Yedi Total Package bread maker is another great, budget-friendly machine with a fruit and nut dispenser. It’s not just me that likes this machine either, Oprah included this in her list of favorite things in 2021!

The fruit and nut dispenser is located under the lid and is easily accessible. The machine also has a 15-hour delayed timer, 1-hour keep-warm function, and a 15 minute power failure.
Rosewill Bread Maker
The Rosewill bread maker is a great machine for anyone looking for an affordable, entry-level bread maker. It comes with 12 different settings, so you can make a variety of loaves with ease.
The fruit and nut dispenser is at the top of the machine and will release all your favorite ingredients automatically. The dispenser is also detachable so you can easily clean it. The machine also has a 60-minute keep-warm function, so you don’t have to worry about your bread going cold.
What are you baking?
Having a bread maker with a fruit and nut dispenser is invaluable if you are someone who likes to add those ingredients to your bread. It makes the process a lot easier and eliminates the need for you to manually add them in.
You do need to watch what type of ingredients you put in a dispenser. Avoid adding chocolate as it will most likely melt in the dispenser. This can also happen to cheese so if you want to add cheese or chocolate chips to your loaf, add them directly into the bread pan.
When it comes to adding nuts, make sure they are chopped up so they don’t damage the nonstick coating. And don’t forget that you can also add herbs and spices to your loaf with the dispenser!
Not all bread makers have an automatic fruit and nut dispenser, so the 8 above are some of the best ones you will find on the market.
Happy baking!
